Harmony Timber Frame Houses at the Marina Village, Wicklow, Ireland

Harmony Timber Frame are delighted to be working closely with Greystones Devco on their large project at Marina Village in Wicklow, Ireland.

Once completed, the Marina at Greystones will be a world class facility and an exciting focal point for the local town. There will be many new facilities added the the extensive 200 berth Marina including 5 new clubhouses, a coastguard station, a new town square and related shops and leisure facilities. All 5 new clubhouses should be occupied by the end of Spring 2016 as all are in the process of finalising details with Wicklow County Council.

There will be a new 16 acre public park which will form part of The Cliff Walk between Bray and Greystones.

Harmony Timber Frame are delighted to be instructed to complete the remaining timber framed houses of the original 358 residential units. They will range from 1 bed apartments to 5 bedroom detached houses. Harmony Timber Frame will be manufacturing and supplying pre-insulated airtight panels that achieve an impressive U-Value of 0.14 to the external timber framed walls.

There are a few photos below of the preliminary timber framed walls being installed, and no doubt there will be plenty more timber frame kits arriving shortly on site. Our Posi joist, open metal web floor joist system and timber roof trusses, both from our Wicklow factory, will be complimenting the build. Although the site is large and spacious the benefit of off-site timber frame construction allows for greater space around the building units. This provides a cleaner and ultimately safer working environment.
